Daylight savings has come to an end, but less daylight does not mean less fun! The best thing about Southern California is all of the enjoyable activities available year-round. Here are some of our recommendations for holiday-themed festivities!

General admission is only $9, and there are skate and locker rentals available at an additional cost. Learn more and get tickets on their website!

The Rose Bowl Flea Market opens every second Sunday of each month, and the next one is coming up on November 11! Get more information on their website.

Explore the LA Zoo Lights!

It might be dark outside now that daylight savings has ended, but it’s glowing at the LA Zoo! Bring the family and walk around to see all of the illuminated displays. Or, you can bring a date and enjoy their happy hour! Explore the LA Zoo Lights from November 16 through January 6. Tickets start at $12 and are available for purchase on their website.

Go Whale Watching!

There are a lot of excellent whale watching tours in Southern California, ranging from Santa Barbara to Long Beach and down to Newport Beach. Whale migration season officially starts in January, but whale watchers are still very likely to see the early migration in November and December! Watchers might also get to see dolphins, seals, and other marine life.

That wraps ups our list of activities you can get involved in this season! What are your favorite things to do throughout fall and winter in the Los Angeles and Orange County? Let us know so we can get involved too!
